8 Vegan Marijuana Edibles You Can Make At Home

Vegan diets are popular and for all the right reasons. They allow you to live a healthier life and also minimize cruelty towards animals. Cannabis blends amazingly well to vegan dishes and gives them a twist with ‘a high’. Moreover, it adds a huge range of health benefits to food. You can select from a huge variety of cannabis strains that come with different potency levels to adjust the psychoactive effects as per your needs. For all those who want to null out the psychoactive effects, they can choose to cook with a cannabis derivative, CBD oil.

1.   Canna-Banana Sundae

Ingredients

  • 3 bananas peeled and sliced
  • 3 tablespoon canna oil
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 3 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • ⅓ cup toasted coconut powder

Method

Coat the bananas with the lemon juice and put it in the freezer for at least 4 hours.

Then, in a bowl whisk together cannabis oil, honey, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract to form a chocolate sauce.

Puree the frozen banana into cream-like consistency.

Divide and pour into bowls and top it with chocolate sauce.

Serve chilled.

2.   Firecracker

Ingredients

  • 1 graham cracker sheet
  • 1-2 tablespoon peanut butter
  • 1 gram marijuana
  • Agave nectar

Method

Preheat the oven to 32 degrees F and line an aluminum sheet foil.

Spread the peanut butter on half of the graham cracker sheet.

Sprinkle the marijuana over the butter and top it with the other half graham cracker forming a sandwich.

Wrap the cracker in the foil paper and place it in the oven for 25-30 minutes.

3.   CBD-Infused Guacamole

Ingredients

  • 4 Avocados peeled, pitted and diced
  • 1 Onion peeled and diced
  • ½ cup cherry tomatoes
  • 2 lime juiced
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1 quarter ounce of NuLeaf Naturals cannabis oil
  • Salt as per taste

Method

Add all ingredients except salt in a power blender and blend until smooth.

Transfer the mixture to a bowl, add salt and mix.

The tasty guacamole is ready. Serve it with nachos or chips.

4.   Cinnamon-Canna Pancakes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • ¼ cup canna oil
  • 3 banana
  • 2 tablespoon sweetener of choice
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon

Method

Combine milk and lemon and set it aside for 4-5 minutes.

In a separate bowl sift the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and cinnamon.

Peel and mash bananas with the help of a fork, removing all the lumps. Now add sweetener, milk-lemon mix, vanilla extract, and oil and beat well.

Gradually beat the flour mixture to the wet ingredients until a smooth batter-like consistency.

Put a medium skillet on heat and carefully pour the batter with the help of a ladle spoon to make small pancakes.

Once golden brown, flip the pancake and cook from the other side.

Serve pancakes with fruits or pour some agave nectar on it.

5.   Peanut Butter Ganja Fudge

Ingredients

  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup of cocoa powder
  • 1 cup canna oil
  • 3 ½ cup icing sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method

Put a large pot on low heat, and add canna oil sugar to it. Stir well.

Now add peanut butter, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract and mix well.

Spread mixture evenly on a lightly greased tray.

Refrigerate until it gets cool and hard. Cut into diamond shapes and serve.

6.   Cannabis Cashew Cream with Avocados

Ingredients

  • 2 large avocados, peeled, pitted, and halved.
  • ½ cup of water
  • 1-2 tablespoon canna oil
  • 1 cup cashew, soaked for 3-4 hours and rinsed
  • 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
  • ¼ clove garlic
  • 2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon tamari
  • 1- teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • Salt as per taste

Method

Take the avocados and scoop out the center leaving behind the hollow halves to be filled with cream.

In a power blender combine the rest of the ingredients and blend until smooth cream-like texture forms.

Using a spoon, fill the cream to the hollowed avocado. The light creamy avocados are ready to be enjoyed.

1.   Overnight Canna-Chia Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1 cup canna milk
  • 1 cup almond/soy/coconut milk
  • ½ cup chia seed
  • 1-2 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • Mixed fruits for the topping

Method

Combine all the ingredients except the fruits and mix well.

Portion out the mixture into separate jars and refrigerate for a minimum of 4 hours.

Top it with the fruits and serve chilled.

2.   Chocolate Canna Buttercups

Ingredients

  • ½ a cup of cocoa powder
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter
  • ½ cup cannabutter
  • Vegan Chocolate shavings

Method

In a large bowl add in the cocoa powder, brown sugar, and cannabutter and stir well.

Line cupcake tin with liner and brush peanut butter all over.

Pour the mixture into the tins and freeze for 30 minutes.

Garnish with chocolate shavings and serve.
