Yay Gov. Phil Murphy for moving the iceberg of NJ marijuana rules and laws that our former Governor put into place! On Tuesday Gov. Murphy added several new conditions eligible for medical marijuana in the Garden State, which now includes the following:
Chronic Pain related to musculoskeletal disorders
Migraines
Anxiety
Asthma
Chronic visceral pain
Tourette Syndrome
Chronic Fatigue
This is exceptional news! Murphy also cut the cost of patient signup in half from $200 to $100 and doctors no longer must appear on a public registry to recommend MMJ which should result in greater patient access.
NJ currently has 5 Alternative Treatment Centers (dispensary’s) across the state. With the addition of these conditions this will increase the customer base and hopefully we may get more treatment centers, but small steps! I’m just grateful that there is movement!
